    How we do it,

    • Working with outside agencies and volunteers to provide services our community  need to improve lives.
    • Offer a proactive, anticipatory service meeting the needs and expectations of those who would like to use our services, and operating an open door policy to everyone.
    • Wherever possible offer a free service to our community, subject to gaining funding and support from outside bodies.
    • Keep expenditure on wages and salaries down to a minimum, so money is available to promote and provide more services as and when they are needed.
    • Fostering a culture of volunteering within the Shildon Community,  improving  social responsibility and mutual respect.
